Thinking about becoming a driving instructor?
The first steps to becoming a driving instructor should be to apply on the DVSA Website to become a driving instructor
- Are you over the age of 21?
- Have you had your full car licence for 3+ years?
- Have you got less that 5 points on your licence?
- If you answer yes to the above questions you can start your application to become a approved driving instructor

The Qualification process
The theory and hazard perception test. (ADI Part one)
Test of your Driving ability. ADI Part two
Once you have passed the part 2 you may have the option of going on a 6 month Trainee licence
Take the Instruction ability test. ADI Part 3
Once you have passed the AdI part 3 test you must register within 12 months and register for your first ADI Certificate
